More than 80 guests took part in our 3. germanophone karaoke event on October, 1st. With a lot of new songs and in an even bigger location we spent an entertaining, musical afternoon!
As part of the Week of the German Language, our 3. Germanophone karaoke event took place. In collaboration with the German Embassy Yerevan, we held our event in the basement of “Dargett” – all set up with flags, garlands, and balloons. With tons of enthusiasm the German learners did not only sing one song, but in some cases even performed multiple times on stage, to sing hits such as “Atemlos durch die Nacht”, “Oft gefragt”, or – the all-time favourite – “Moskau” by Dschinghis Khan.
Special thanks to DJ Bernie for providing the newest hits and making sure that the equipment was working perfectly, as well as to the staff of the “Dargett”, who treated us with ice cold drinks, and of course thanks to all the wonderful singers who were brave enough to get on stage and present their singing voices and German language skills!
